The 2nd Working Meeting of NIDA Medical Industry Committee in 2025 Successfully Held in Nanjing

[Nanjing, August 22, 2025]. The 2nd 2025 Working Meeting of the NIDA Medical Industry Committee was held. Mobile Medical Education Laboratory, Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, Guizhou People's Hospital, Pingshan Hospital of Southern Medical University, First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital, First Hospital of Lanzhou University, Shandong Provincial People's Hospital, China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd., Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and ZTE Corporation Eighteen representatives of industry committees, including Co., Ltd., attended the meeting. The meeting focused on the adoption of the work plan of the NIDA Medical Industry Committee for 2025, including one white paper, two standards, and three pilot schemes.

At the beginning of the meeting, Zhu Keyi, Deputy Secretary-General of NIDA, delivered a speech. Zhu Keyi first extended warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the experts and members attending the meeting. The purpose and mission of the NIDA Healthcare Industry Committee is to lead the network technology innovation and standard building of the healthcare industry, and promote the development of digital intelligence and global collaboration in healthcare. Better enable ICT technologies in the healthcare industry to promote intelligent healthcare development. The white paper and two network construction standards planned in this document focus on application scenarios in the healthcare industry, carry out new network technology innovations oriented to smart healthcare, and serve as an industry example. The medical industry is one of the important development directions of the NIDA Alliance, and will focus on investing resources to ensure it.


Then Huang Weihong, Chairman of the Medical Industry Committee, introduced the overall organization, membership, and key work plan for 2025. Huang Weihong mentioned that in the context of the intelligent trend and digital telemedicine model, healthcare informatization faces various challenges. The healthcare industry committee can serve as an important bridge for leaders such as national standards organizations and international standards organizations, ICT vendors, healthcare industry organizations, and academicians to communicate with the industry. Promote the implementation of the new generation of intelligent medical scenarios. Based on the combination of application scenarios, standards, pilots, and industry implementation in the healthcare industry, and systematic consideration, in the future, data +, +, artificial intelligence, computing, and intelligence will be an important breakthrough in the healthcare information industry. The industry committee will organize regular communication, both online and offline. In the standard interpretation phase, medical network solution experts Gao Hongming and Zhao Haobin interpreted the Smart Hospital Campus Network Architecture and Construction Guide and the Telemedicine and Specialized Medical Large Model Remote Intelligent Computing WAN Construction Guide respectively. Based on industry requirements and professional knowledge, representatives from healthcare and manufacturers had a lively discussion and gave many excellent opinions and suggestions on network consensus, live-network compatibility, implementation feasibility, pilot solution, energy saving and emission reduction, and network elasticity. In the field of standard acceptance, the members put forward suggestions for interconnection with international organizations, and discussed internationalization paths and existing interconnection organizations. During the discussion on AI medical applications, members proposed cloud-edge collaboration and intelligent computing convergence. Both large and small models should be supported, and ecosystem vendors should collaborate with each other. The atmosphere of discussion at the meeting was lively and productive.


This meeting brought together experts from the healthcare industry and leading ICT vendors to systematically review the work plan and business development approaches of the healthcare industry committee.
