The CENI-NIDA Joint Innovation Center was officially inaugurated.

[Nanjing, January 09, 2026] The CENI-NIDA Joint Innovation Center jointly established by Jiangsu Future Network Innovation Research Institute and the Global Fixed Network Innovation Alliance (NIDA) was officially inaugurated. Based on the industry consensus on the future network, the two parties are committed to standard development, pilot implementation, and industry promotion activities for "joint computing", "joint data", "joint intelligence", and "joint air".

Tan Hang, executive vice president of Jiangsu Future Network Innovation Research Institute, and Deng Yiou, secretary general of the Global Fixed Network Innovation Alliance, opened the innovation center. The establishment of the center marks a new stage of strategic cooperation between the two sides on innovation demonstration.

Secretary-General Deng Yiou reviewed important milestones in cooperation between the two sides since 2023 and thanked the Institute for its long-term support. The two sides will continue to deepen cooperation in exploring network evolution, innovation collaboration, scenario-based innovation demonstration of new quality Internet, application of industry standards, and industrialization implementation. Focusing on network AI, "east counting and west computing", and space-space integration, we will cooperate and innovate. We will make full use of the standards and international advantages of CENI's national big science devices and the Global Fixed Network Innovation Alliance, and contribute to the innovation and leadership of China's fixed network industry.
