Notice on Calling for Innovative Application Cases for the 2026 "Next-Generation Network Pioneer City Construction Action Plan"
Dear Member Organizations and Partners:
To thoroughly implement the global strategic deployment of accelerating the construction of new infrastructure and promoting the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, the Network Innovation and Development Alliance (NIDA) launched the "Next-Generation Network Pioneer City Construction Action Plan" in 2024, aiming to promote the global implementation, application, and innovative development of next-generation Internet technologies.
To systematically summarize and promote cutting-edge practices and innovative achievements in campus networks, DCN networks, autonomous networks, wide-area networks, cybersecurity, and other fields, we are now calling for innovative application cases for the 2026 "Next-Generation Network Pioneer City Construction Action Plan." Selected cases will be officially released during the 2026 NIDA Summit and included in the "Next-Generation Network Pioneer City 2026 Innovative Application Case Collection" for global promotion.
Purpose of the Call
1. To identify innovative application practices featuring technological innovation, market model innovation, or industrial application breakthroughs in the fields of campus networks, DCN networks, autonomous networks, wide-area networks, and cybersecurity;
2. To establish industry reference samples, particularly in telecommunications, education, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and other sectors, providing replicable and scalable practical guidelines for the network construction of next-generation network pioneer cities;
3. To promote international exchanges of innovative network technologies, standards, and practical experience, and facilitate global industrial cooperation.
Call Content
（I）Case Directions
Covering but not limited to the following areas:
Innovation Dimension: Cases should be inspirational and valuable for reference in terms of technical solutions, business models, application scenarios, or collaboration mechanisms. Including but not limited to: first successful implementation practices in the industry or field, solving long-standing technical or application difficulties, exploring new market models or ecological cooperation approaches, etc.
Technological Advancement Dimension: Cases should be built based on new-generation network technologies or system architectures, demonstrating technological representativeness and generational advantages. For example, based on cutting-edge technologies such as SRv6, network AI, Autonomous Networks (AN), computing-network convergence, deterministic networks, intelligent computing security, etc., with reference to NIDA Alliance standards in relevant fields.
Application and Promotion Dimension: Cases should demonstrate broad and clear market prospects and promotion value. Including but not limited to: having generated actual economic benefits, having clear models or market application paths, gaining market recognition, and playing a positive driving role in the development of the industrial chain.
Social and User Value Dimension: Cases should focus on social benefits and user value. Including but not limited to: promoting digital inclusion, narrowing the digital divide, supporting green development, improving public service levels or user experience, driving industry digital transformation, etc.

1. Material Format: Case application form (Word + PDF), project introduction PPT;
2. Submission Email: Please send to contact@nida-alliance.org, with the email subject indicating: [Case Direction]-[Company/Organization Name]-[Case Name]-2026 Application;
3. Deadline: October 8, 2026.

Verified cases will be included in the "Next-Generation Network Pioneer City 2026 Innovative Application Case Collection" and released globally;
Receive an inclusion notice for "2026 Next-Generation Network Pioneer City Construction Action Plan Innovative Cases" issued by NIDA;
