At the Consumer Electronics Innovation Conference 2025 (CEIC 2025) held in Shenzhen recently, DEKRA, a global professional inspection and testing certification organization, and the Global Fixed Network Innovation Alliance ( Network Innovation and Development Alliance, for short) jointly awarded the Campus Network Evaluation Certificate to Xi'an Jiaotong University. The ceremony was held at the 3rd NIDA Network Innovation and Development Conference. It marks that Xi'an Jiaotong University has reached an industry-leading level in the planning and construction of campus networks, especially smart classroom scenarios, and sets a new benchmark for digital intelligence infrastructure construction in colleges and universities across the country.

Six Evaluation and Test Dimensions
The evaluation strictly complies with the Evaluation Indicators and Test Methods for College Campus Networks released by the NIDA Alliance and the Evaluation Scheme for College Campus Network Smart Classroom Scenarios prepared by DEKRA. The network performance of smart classrooms is evaluated and tested from six core dimensions: global security, energy-saving, high-speed network, deterministic experience, ubiquitous connectivity, and autonomous network. The evaluation solution is formulated and executed based on the special requirements of campus networks and the application characteristics of smart classroom scenarios.
Global security: Ensures end-to-end security and reliability of network architecture and data transmission.
Green energy saving: Evaluate the energy efficiency performance of network equipment and the overall solution, and implement the concept of sustainable development.
High-speed network: Verify network bandwidth and throughput capabilities to support high-quality teaching applications, such as 4K/8K video, VR, and AR.
Identify the experience: Ensures low latency and zero frame freezing for key teaching services (such as online interaction, live broadcast, and exams).
Ubiquitous Connections: This feature enables high-density wireless network coverage without dead spots in the classroom.
Autonomous networks: This feature improves intelligent network O&M and automatic management capabilities, reducing O&M complexity.
